![]() Get everything else correct, positioning, angling etc and your damage will come. Try to judge your in-game performance by where you place on the leader board. Try to get away from damage being the only stat to worry about, 5k to a DD is worth more than 5k to a cruiser which is worth more than 5k to a BB as it's based on percentage of damage done to a ship, not the overall damage. However, as you are looking for advice, as long as you take on board what is being suggested, you will already be better than the majority of players in game. You have now moved up into the realm of +2 matchmaking so things will get more difficult for you. With a BB you also need to monitor your range, while a BB shouldn't be hanging at the back firing at max range all the time, it also doesn't want to dive right in and expose itself to every torpedo on the enemy team.they take a bit of pre-planning since if you accidently overcommit you probably won't be able to disengage to safety. Granted depending on your ship and the enemy ship they may still be able to overmatch your bow still. ![]() But sometimes its better just to point your bow directly at the enemy to tank the damage even though you have less turrets firing.
